Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-09-17
Agreement
These terms govern your use of bouncer.run, the gateway, the API and the Security Check. By creating an account or calling our endpoints you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
The service
Bouncer proxies calls to the agents, APIs and MCP servers you register, applies the allow/deny policies, rate limits and spend caps you configure, and records a call log. The Security Check inspects npm packages and remote MCP servers and returns a verdict, a risk score and findings.
What a Security Check verdict means
Checks are static: we read package metadata, tarball contents as text and MCP tool definitions. We never execute the code we inspect. A verdict is an informed opinion produced by automated rules, not a guarantee. A clean result does not certify that software is safe, and a flagged result does not prove malice. Always apply your own judgement before installing anything.
Acceptable use
- Do not route traffic you are not authorised to send, or use the gateway to disguise its origin.
- Do not attempt to break rate limits, quotas or other accounts' isolation.
- Do not submit private MCP tokens belonging to someone else.
- Do not resell the Security Check as your own scanning product without a written agreement.
Your content and accounts
You keep ownership of the specs, policies and configuration you upload. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service. You are responsible for keeping gateway keys secret and for all activity under your account.
Fees and payments
Bouncer is currently free to use, as described on the pricing page. Where you enable x402 per-call pricing, callers pay you directly in USDC on-chain; we take no cut and are not a party to that payment. Network fees are yours and the caller's to bear.
Availability
We aim for high availability but the service is provided without an uptime commitment unless we have agreed one in writing. We may change or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice for material changes.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or 100 EUR.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or for conduct that endangers the service or other users. On termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by German law, with the courts of Berlin having exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
